New Parish Councillors
I am delighted to inform you that we have been successful in attracting three new Parish Councillors: Peter Agar from New Road, Clive Blower from Trinity Close, Tricia Knibbs from the High Street. We welcome them all to the team and are confident that they will all make a valuable contribution to the village.
We still do need more applicants, so if you are thinking about it, but not sure whether to apply or not, why not come along to the meetings to find out how we spend the second Monday evening of each month. The areas we still need help with are:
- Planning Applications
- Environment
- Fund Raising (for the Village Hall extension and a possible upgrade of the Skate Park)
- Emergency Planning
All villagers are welcome to all our meetings; the next meeting is to be held at 7.30 pm Monday 14th November in the Village Hall.
